Wanting to add a SEP rating to your PPL or LAPL? With MotorGlide you can! 

Adding a SEP class rating to your PPL or LAPL couldn’t be simplier!  At MotorGlide, you will complete all your training and skills test in house with our friendly instructors and examiners.  We can conduct your training at Bicester Airfield.  

To add a SEP rating to your PPL(A), you’ll need to complete:

• A course of training
• Skills test

The amount of flying needed to satisfy the ‘course of training’ requirement very much depends upon you; it normally takes around 3 to 5 hours depending on what previous experience you have. You can take the skills test when you feel completely ready.

To add a SEP rating to your LAPL(A), you’ll need to complete:

• Minimum of 3 hours’ flight instruction, including 10 dual take-offs and landings, and 10 supervised solo take-offs and landings
• Skills test
